Hawaiian airlines boarding zones organize passengers for a more efficient boarding process. Both current military troops and individuals in need of assistance are pre-boarded. Next to board are passengers in First Class and Premium Cabin, and then elite HawaiianMiles members. Zone 2 is designated for Extra Comfort passengers, whereas zones 3 through 5 are for Main Cabin passengers to board. In order to maintain order, boarding starts at the rear of the aircraft and proceeds forward. The boarding zone for each passenger is indicated clearly on their pass.
