The ladders in arma are badly done and may cause the death of the player. Especially when you are a sniper or a marksman and shooting from a rooftop or an elevated position reachable by a ladder; most of the times if you are spotted and receive enemy fire, the only way to retreat and relocate is the ladder which is not a good idea to use because it will result in first flying in the air and then leveling to the actual ladder, so you just play dead waiting for the enemy fire to cease. Is a small thing but can be annoying because it can get you killed.
