If you try to select a specific character and save it before loading into a server it will not work. This is happening whether you have the new player spawn loot turned on or off. The character that appears in game will be random selected instead of the one you chose.

Steps To Reproduce
With a new character on a server go to the character selection process. Save your character and log into server. You will have a random one selected instead.
Same behavior if the new spawning loot is on or off.
Additional Information
This prevents servers from using the new spawn loot to create custom loadouts by character. And prevents people from choosing the character they prefer.
