When the player's clothes and backpack get damp, and you removed them by a fire to dry-out, the items inside do not dry out unless you remove every single item in the inventory and replace. This does not seem to impact water resistant jackets or dry bags but does impact all other jackets, pants and backpacks. It happens every time. Go for a swim then make a fire, sit by the fire and take off all your clothes and backpacks - wait N minutes of time - the items will still be damp inside the object while the object itself is dry.
I cannot believe this is intentional as it requires a lot of inventory management when you are most vulnerable e.g. without clothes.
I suggest that this is amended so that once a damp items is removed and dried out ALL items inside are automatically dried out too. This would not remove this element of the game but would speed up the gameplay and reduce the amount of clicks to resolve what is merely a nuisance.
