Playing in the 1st person AP server on the first page of the official server list- I suspect that some players have access to see other players locations. I've put 500+ hours into the game since the first time i played about 6 months ago, and i understand running into people in the wild and getting into fights is going to happen. You win some you lose some.
Ive been run up on 4 times in the last 10 hours where people come out of nowhere from the other side of buildings/objects/tree lines to my exact location, guns out and fighting. One instance (in Livonia 1st person) i spawned within 50 meters of a fight that was already happening, it was raining and thundering, i opened 1 door and crouch walked behind a hay bale and hill where i could see the guy running perpendicularly away from me 40+ meters away. No chance he could hear me, and if anything my head was exposed for 2 seconds, wearing camo he turned scoped on me and started shooting right away. I run and try taking cover behind some torn down buildings, but he was on my every move every chance he had.
Again, im a huge fan of the game, and i understand sometimes i get seen first and lose a fight, and some people are just better than me. Im normally about 50/50 or maybe slightly better in gunfights. I play almost exclusively solo so i understand the importance of being stealthy and avoiding other teams in private chat. My average life is 20+ hours, but as of late, getting gunned down is unavoidable within a couple of hours whether its in Cherno or the remote hunting cabins in the east.
It seems like im getting targeted by players who have the advantage and are hunting me before they can see me/hear me and vice versa non-stop.
