You can use any of the digging tools such as the pick axe, shovel or hoe to remove all grass and vegetation from your surrounding area to search for piles of dirt (peoples loot) and also allows for searching of trip wires and now in experimental to search for landmines and other explosive traps.

Steps To Reproduce
First you need a digging tool such as the shovel. pickaxe or hoe.
next press the RT (right trigger) button on Xbox and this pulls out the highlighted garden plot.
This should de-spawn all grass and vegetation in your surrounding area.
Walk around and all the grass will keep despawning allowing for easy searching of forest and grassy areas for piles of dirt, trip wires and explosive traps .
Additional Information
This should be fixed ASAP to prevent people from finding hidden stashes so easily.
