Don't know if it's a bug or not, but I keep catching a disease pretty early on in the game which makes my character get really hungry and thirsty and usually die pretty quickly. I can only eat and drink small amounts at a time or I puke. I seem to catch it randomly when doing pretty much anything.  It used to go away after a couple of tetra or multi vitamins but now it just keeps coming back. I've literally taken 24 tetra pills every time the illness symbol appeared, then 16 multi vitamins (everything I had) but it keeps coming back.
