I have PS5 DE, not PS4.
But my friends on PS4 Pro have the same issue.

These freezes broke the cars. They force us to feel so much PAIN. It’s impossible to save your car driving faster than 40. I don’t even use any gears except the first one.

PLEASE DO SOMETHING!

If it’s known issue maybe you should add some less than zero coefficient to the car accident damage. Otherwise it’s always costs us 2 front wheels and radiator. It’s SO UNFAIR :’(
At least make them not ruined but badly damaged so they could be repaired by tools.
