Currently, if you log off in 1st person and log back in you are defaulted to 3rd person. I'm pretty sure the same applies to which 3rd person camera you use (left/right shoulder) as well - it always seems to default you to the left when you get off.

The same lack of persistence applies to some scopes. If you have a scope with multiple modes of use (ATOG, PSO-1 and PSO-1-1) you are defaulted to that scope's iron sights even if you logged out with the optical zoom portion of the scope selected.
