For a few seconds the Infected will investigate the item that was thrown near them. BUT they will always turn right around and run to the exact location of where I am or where I threw the object from. Especially grenades. They know where to find me. Even if I am hiding on the roof of a building or on a small hill. So making distractions or trying to cause a bit of a chaos doesn't really work. I am playing DayZ on the must updated version on PS4.

Steps To Reproduce
Just throw an item at them. Watch the infected first investigate the spot. Then watch them turn right around and run toward you or the spot where you are or were.
Additional Information
It gives away your hiding spot. Other players will see triggered Infected running around the building or location where you are.
