Reviewed, UrgentPublic

Description

Since the last update I have the problem that when I turn on my Xbox One X from standby (fast start), I cannot log into our private Nitrado server and the the error:

"You were kicked off the game (Timeout)".

At the same time I see the following log entries on our server:

14:44:15 | Player "Tagesvollster"(id=Unknown) has been disconnected

  • Turn off Xbox One X while having "Fast start" option active in the energy saving settings (didn't test with other settings)
  • Turn on Xbox
  • Start DayZ (quick start as the game is still in memory)
  • Try to log into the same private server

Can be mitigated by:

  • terminate the game and restart it

or

  • logging into an official server and immediately log out again

Then I can log into the private server again.

Hello Tagesvoller.
What you describe is a normal behaviour and works as expected. Unless this is a case just with specific server.

Geez

Uhm, you mean this bug is "working as expected"? This puzzles me a little bit.
How can being unable to log into a server after the console start be "normal behaviour"?
