1.08 Experimental Bugs, Notices, and Suggestions.

Description

Note: All 1.08 bugs are observed on an Xbox One X but the experimental client is not 'X Enhanced' meaning it is not on the same client you would see normal gameplay with.

• Reload glitch allowing you to put different magazines into the wrong guns. https://gamerdvr.com/gamer/cc-smoke-cc/video/101615628

• The Invert Y Axis setting does not save and will revert to the default off setting upon application start up.

• If you already have a holster on a belt/carrier you are unable to quick equip a second holster to a belt/carrier in the vicinity.

• The music volume setting is not honoured on the 'Press A To Start' screen.

• At around ~60m high on a structure, ground textures below you within a ~10m radius occasionally don't render unless you manipulate your POV.

• Server Error Code 23 happens occasionally resulting in the application needing a reinstall due to its permanent status.

• FX-45 damage textures sometimes don't appear in inventory.

• The damage textures for tactical goggles don't appear sometimes.

• You can still hear decayed bodies after they have disappeared.

• Boxed rifled slugs have the improper texture which is an inverted rubber slug box texture.

• The Sarka 120 still has improper steering wheel and speedometer textures.

• M4-A1 unrealistically degrades faster than it should.

• All footwear degrade incredibly fast to an unrealistic extent.

•Both the M4 and AK bayonets could realistically fit into the in-game sheath but do not.

• The frying pan has unrealistically weak damage against infected.

• Tracer rounds of all types don't immediately spark after leaving the barrel of a firearm.

• The ATOG Scope has unrealistically high sway.

• Both the M4-A1 and KA-74 have unrealistically high single shot recoil even with attachments that boost accuracy.

• The M4-A1 bayonet decreases in-game accuracy which is unrealistic, it should in fact boost accuracy due to common factory sighting of the M4-A1 IRL. This applies to the Mosin 91/30 as well.

• Mosin bayonets have a highly rare default spawn then they should making them more rare than heli crash loot.

• 7.62x39, 5.45x39, 5.56x45, and .357 still value at 55 damage according to the DayZ wiki which is super unrealistic (See more in suggestions)

• 45. ACP weighs 12g according to the DayZ wiki. This is unrealistically heavy in comparison to other rounds that are much larger in calibre.

• Unable to change VOIP volume with a controller

[Mouse + Keyboard Issues for Console]

•You are unable to independently lean while in normal stances like on PC, only whilst aiming.

•You are unable to use a key to hide/show your HUD like PC.

•No key mapping support.

•The mouse sensitivity while in your inventory is significantly slower than the set sensitivity of the rest of the game. This can cause gameplay issues and isn't on par with PC.

[Suggestions]

•Allow the M4-A1/KA bayonets to be sheathed.

•Have the M4-A1 be issued with its IRL counterpart scabbard that comes with a wire cutter when paired together allowing you to remove and destroy barbed wire.

• Replace the current bullet damaging system for one that is based on mass, impact velocity, and bullet placement instead of having every intermediate cartridge be 55 damage with unrealistic results. Bullet damage is just too inconsistent for pistol rounds too along with .308 and 7.62x54.

•Change the M4-A1 bayonet name to the M9A1 as no licensing issues would ever likely happen.
