The wooden crates at Dayz are having trouble moving and placing items, the items are stuck inside it and you can no longer pick up or place anything even though there is space. Wooden crates are very useful in the game but with this bug it is very difficult to use them. This is the third time this has happened to me in the game, it is quite frustrating.

I second this. These crate (and backpack) inventory bugs NEED to be fixed ASAP. I did find a resolution (although very annoying and time consuming) you CAN retrieve bugged items from crates/bags but you will need space on your person to store the crate/bag in your inventory.
When you have a bugged crate
Take crate to hands
Take items you need from the crate and move them to inventory
Store crate itself in inventory (50 spaces)
Log out
Log in
Crate will be in inventory but the items you moved before log out to your inventory will be in the crate
Drop crate
The items you moved will now be unbugged you can take them to hands or inventory now
