So I saw a pair of cargo pants that had a coke inside the inventory. Being that my inventory was full I dropped the pump shotgun in my hands. I drank the coke and right as I was done I grabbed the shotgun and watched it go back into my hands.

About 5 minutes later I saw my shotgun had disappeared. I ran back to the cargo pants and saw the shotgun had went back to the spot i had dropped it on the ground. I couldnt pick it back up so I logged and relogged and was able to pick it up.

That being said, I believe that when I was drinking the coke the circle that shows the item deplenishing wasnt completely off my screen when I had put the shotgun back into my hands. Its was right at the end of the deplenishing circle when I swapped.

This could also be another reason why other people and myself included keep losing guns. The gun was FOR SURE in my hands when I left the cargo pants
