When you use the cross pad in 1.07 ps4 in the menus dayz is registering a "down hold" event on the controller activating the mic, so this is giving your position, even if there's no mic connected, this began to happen on 1.07 if you use the cross pad to navigate "down" in the inventory.

Steps To Reproduce
enter the inventory tap down a few times on the crosspad, the mic icon will be displayed on the screen and it wil even get hold even if you close the menu
