I can't open cans of food or drink out of the only water bottle that I have found and I am about to die of dehydration. I can eat from the box of cereal that I have but I don't have anything else.

I have tried several different servers as well as restarting the game/the xbox.
Additional Information
now my hands only do some small task but i still cant eat or drink cant open cans or load my gun. this is two survivors now that this has happened to i don`t want to kill my guy if this is going to keep happening. it makes the game unplayable!!!!
