Having the ability to sort out containers would be extremely helpful. Having multiple items in a backpack, jacket, or pants would be way easier to navigate through if there were a way to sort the contents within. Maybe something like: while in the inventory window, with the cursor inside the selected container press up on the dpad to sort A-Z, press up again to sort Z-A, and press up in dpad a third time for manual sort. That way we can place items where they logically make since to us.
