When binding yourself with rope, duct tape, or other restraint, the game with glitch and you will be bound, but unable to struggle, drop the item, access inventory, or do any gestures. You will appear unbound unable for anyone to cut the restraint. No knowable workaround. The game still registers you as bound so if you log out, your character dies.
