Kill any player or if a friend dies go and try to recover their loot and you will only find what the player was holding no gear

I was sitting in a crane sniping in the lumber mill a player spawned in the crane with me and we shot each other we both died and after my friend went up the crane only to find my weapon and his weapon were the only things on the ground in the same day my friend died to zombies at the boy scout camp and almost immediately after I went to find his body and the only thing left was his combat knife this has happened everytime I die and anyone I kill and is very frustrating to deal with when you lose all your gear when u die no matter how fast u get back to get your gear back
