I am currently experiencing issues on the PS4 where items in the inventory, tents, backbacks, and other storage areas cannot be unmoved or dropped after placing them. Seems to be a bigger issue with tents, but still happens in other areas that allow storage. This creates issues when you can no longer pack tents and move them. Seems to be with random items, but not really sure.
