Right now only the upper body shows. For those of us who play exclusively first person, we never get to see trousers/shoes (unless we look at our feet in-game, which doesn't really work when trying out several different outfit items).

I'd much rather have the character zoomed out in the menu, so we can see the whole person, than focusing on the upper body. I mean it's nice that the character winks and stuff, but I'd rather see what I'm actually wearing from top to bottom.

PC has an option to zoom, but all pc players do is to zoom out (never zoom in). So why not starting the character model fully zoomed-out in the first place, and for console, keep it zoomed out if it's too much trouble to have a zoom button.
