At the moment it's likely to despawn, but it's random so it might or it might not. I'd say do not take the time for base building as it takes hours or even days to finish building just for it all to be likely wiped due to the persistence issues.

But if you really want to you can at least just stick with tents, barrels, and stashes for now until persistence is fixed. these items can also be wiped but they're way easier to set up than a whole base so it's not a waste of time.

What about cars because my base and car all depawned today
