Improve inventory - create memory slots
New, HighPublic

Description

This is a quality of life improvement and therefore not top priority.

Some of us like to have an organized inventory. Eg. all ammo goes to vests (and remains there) and all food goes to pants.

Example:
-Our character has a jacket, trousers and backpack with 10 slots free in each of them.
-We have a compass in our backpack.
-We have assigned the compass to a quickslot.

Situation:

  1. We take the compass in our hands, using the quickslot.
  2. We are done using the compass and chose the compass from the quickslot again to free up our hands.
  3. The compass goes (randomly) in our jacket.

Solution:
When we find the compass we use inventory management to put it in our backpack. The game remembers that the compass is assigned to the backpack. Everytime we equip/unequip the compass -given that there is space in our backpack- the compass should always go in the backpack.

If we pick up an item using Y it's ok for the item to go randomly anywhere there's space. If we manually move it using (bumpers and triggers) it means that the inventory should remember which specific place (eg. vest, pants, etc.) we assigned that item and always place it there after use.

This is especially useful for magazines so that we can keep all magazines together without the game randomly placing everything.
