game crashes when navigating inventory of barrels that are placed within “vicinity” range of watch tower

I had 2 kinds of barrels (red/blue) placed next to a watchtower I was building and 80% (roughly) of the times I tried to go into the barrel inventory, my game would freeze.

When this was happening I was unsure of what the issue was until I moved the barrels away from my base and was then able to navigate the inventory without any problems.

I had about 30 game crashes just trying to get my stuff out of the barrels.
