The spot must be a flat surface

I had probs with a large tent placement, even walked to a petrol station but still couldn't place.
That said, I have managed to put a small tent on a hillside on about a 25° slope so no idea, seems a bit hit and miss

I bet he doesn’t miss huh? Sorry.... all jokes aside, I used a medium tent and it was real troublesome placing because that also relied on flat surfaces, you can still place it in the woods if it’s flat enough but also try different angles

Since update yesterday I found a med tent and I found it much harder to place, walked along a long hill ridge -
5min run and to end and found only 2 spots to place it and putting on a slope seems out now . Makes tents much less secure if they can only go in certain spots
