To add to this, I’m seemingly able to replicate the crash/bug when scrolling to the bottom item in my inventory. It doesn’t do it every time I scroll to the bottom, but once every hour or two as I scroll to the bottom. As a quick fix, I’ve found that cycling my backpack to the bottom of my inventory, then minimizing the backpack (as it typically carries my food, tools, and extra attachments/ammo), I haven’t had the issue as frequently and it also seems to cut down on the delay on bringing up my inventory with the Back Button when carrying a large number of items.

This issue happens for me too. Esp when I have a shitload of gear in my coat or bag etc. It freezes for about a second. Are you on the xbox one x?

Absolutely correct. Both me and my partner figured out it's the scrolling to the bottom. My suspicion is while doing it with d-pad.

It has seemed to never happen if I use the triggers to navigate the panels. As ideal said as well the inventory having more in it seems to provoke the issue. But absolutely dpad down to the last frame will a couple times out of maybe 10 or 12 catch you a freeze and force you to have to restart
