Steps To Reproduce
Have a zombie anywhere near you and lose connection to your server, the DayZ main screen will show your character but when you load into another server you spawn near shore with nothing.

No if u leave game with a zombie near and it notices you. It will hit you until character logs out. When leaving a server your character usually stays in game for about 15-20 sec.

I have on several occasions been climbing hunting stands, or towers etc and had zombies spawn right on top of me. All throughout the map. And on a deliberate occasion climbing a smokestack tower and after getting to the top of the tower while carrying a small protective case in hand, it launched med several hundred yards away to my death.
