Hi @FaZeNish,
This is usually what happened to me when I play alone on a private server.
In official servers we usually spawn close to teammates.
Better spawn in front of the AI that killed you than in front of another one that you have no clue about his position or the surrounding IMO. (If you respawn alone of course)

Hello FaZeNish, as EricR wrote it depends on your teammates and their position. You should be respawned somewhere around your friendly units. If the area where your teammates are is full of enemies it always respawned you right into the battlefront.
Do you remember if some of your teammate was somewhere around you (meaning the player on who is the respawn selection aim)?

Yes, my teammates were around me when I respawned but they were in cover and I was spawned right in front of the gun fire!
