Needs to be some indication on GPS map who is speaking or names above players
Acknowledged, NormalPublic

Description

Every game so far, when a team-mate is incapacitated, they all shout for help and no-one can find them.

There is no way to identify which player is which, we can see their name showing in the chat area when they use voice chat but there are no names over the player models and the icons on the map/GPS don't have names either.

This is supposed to be a less hardcore version of ARMA3 but still has barriers making it playable, especially as teams are randomly thrown together of players of varying skill and languages.

From https://www.projectargo.net/game
"Argo is a hardcore tactical first-person shooter..."

It is already good to be able to talk while seriously wounded IMO.
To help teammates to find you, use the GPS coordinates and KeyPad subdivisions combined with visual informations about your surrounding.
Also, mark yourself on the MAP with your name if you feel so.

ARGO is less hardcore than ARMA 3, even in Normal mode.
Unfortunately, the way Rank is calculated doesn't really reflect the skills of a player or how he's useful in a team.
If you add players without a mic or using foreign languages, it can just get worst for a team.

The community is "young" and will probably grow with time.
It always a possibility to find ARGO's groups on different platform to find players that match your interest. Create your own group if you feel so.

Yes, voice whilst wounded is good, having to teach people how to describe their location every time is not.

I've been playing ARMA for years and *I* know to drop map markers etc but new players don't, the Map notification UI has always been user unfriendly, how many non-ARMA players are going to even click the dot?

So a tutorial would be more appropriate than dilute the game into another CoD / BF.
Maybe a special server with instructors that teach new players the basics.

The game is also trying to convert people towards Arma 3, so I'm not sure about someone that is not able to learn a game like ARGO, will buy Arma 3.

Wow, so a visual prompt to who is speaking is now diluting the hardcore nature of the game?
Better get rid of that external camera on death and spectating then.

I can see making future suggestions is pointless here.

In a way, yes, but this is only my personal point of view.
I'm also in favor to remove the camera on death (live), a "kill cam" would be more appropriate IMO.

No, All suggestions are welcome and can only help developers to improve the game in general. If in only few hours and having talking to one member here make you think the opposite, well I can't help you.
Have a nice day.
