The in-game description of the PM 9mm, a makarov variant, says it uses 9x21. All Mak variants are chambered in 9x18 makarov. (they are straight-blowback operated pistols, which cannot handle much more chamber pressure than a .380 ACP), the 9x18 Makarov is very, very slightly more powerful than .380, and a 9x21mm pistol using a straight-blowback action would either need a massively heavy slide(like a low quality Hi-Point pistol) and/or a ridiculously heavy recoil spring.

To put it simply, a 9x21 chambered Makarov would be a hand-held, self-mutilating, finger amputating bomb.
As as American Ammosexual, I find this highly offensive and plan to contact the UN for discrimination and hate crime charges if this is not fixed immediately. /s
