Player floating above ground
Need More Info, NormalPublic

Description

Other player can be seen floating above the ground ( 4-10 meters high ) a second, but long enough to reveal his position.

It happened twice in CLASH mode (90% sure), but not the same day and within the first minute of the round, but not immediately after respawn.

1st - While playing - It was an ally running down a somewhat open hill, (not much rocks or vegetation).

2nd - While spectating - It was an enemy. He was at the 2nd story of a small building and I saw him (completely) outside at approximately the same high as the 2nd story floor.

Hi Eric, could you provide us more info about that? Did your teammate or enemies saw the same that he was above ground? In what game mode it happened? It was at the beginning of round immediately after respawn? Please take a picture or capture the video if you observe this problem again.
Thank you very much ;).

Hi Vietwitch,

I don't know if my teammates or enemies saw it, I don't think so, because other players didn't react to it (speaking, ping, turn the head to them).

The game mode was CLASH if I remember correctly (90%).

It happened within the first minute, but not immediately after respawn.

As the bug occurs really fast, I don't think that I would be able to take a screenshot, but sure I'll try. A video is not possible, as my hardware won't take it.

I thought that the problem could be bound to a server's sync / buffer thing... let me try to explain.
I have a slow internet connection and when kids get home, my ping can have a peak, and I realize that when connection is lost and reestablished, a time-lapse "video" of the other players' paths is played. As if I the time was catching me up.

Hi. It looks like a different problem. Thanks for your investigation ;).
