Mosin Reload Mechanics Can Still Fire Without Using A Round
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

If you attempt to reload a Mosin 91/30 when the magazine is full by placing the rounds in the hotbar and pressing the associated hot key, the player will open the bolt, check and see the magazine is full, close the bolt and raise his weapon again. During this time despite the ongoing reload sound, the player can proceed to fire a shot out of his Mosin. This shot will not attract any zombies and will not deplete a round out of the internal magazine. Likely occurs in other weapons with similar reloading mechanics as the Mosin such as the Repeater, but not confirmed as of yet.

Steps To Reproduce
  1. Place Mosin 91/30 in hands.
  2. Ensure Mosin 91/30 is fully loaded.
  3. Place 7.62x54mmR rounds into the hotbar.
  4. Raise your weapon but do not aim down the sights.
  5. Press the 7.62x54mmR rounds' associated hotkey to commence the reloading animation.
  6. When the player closes the bolt, raises the weapon and whilst the reloading sound is still playing, fire a shot from the hip.
  7. The shot will kill whatever it hits, but will not attract any zombies and attempting to top up the gun shows that you are already fully loaded.
Additional Information

This bug likely will occur with other weapons with similar reloading mechanics, in which the reloading animation varies depending on how many rounds are left in the internal magazine, such as the Repeater and MP133 Shotguns. The gun also appears to not degrade from the firing either, but I haven't confirmed this.
