Editor - Problem with "Create Landing towards cursor"
New, WishlistPublic

Description

Sometimes, when creating a new vehicle landing towards the cursor in the Editor, there is a small chance that the vehicle will spawn spinning out of control, resulting in the destruction of the vehicle.

For some reason, it seems to happen more often with my custom Medium rovers. So far, I couldn't replicate this bug with the default vehicles.

When this happens, the vehicle is usually outside the borders of the terrain, and the destruction of the vehicle appears to be related to an early deployment of the parachute (my guess). It doesn't seem to have any relation to the choosen landing site, or any particular terrain.

I believe this one has been fixed in the recent updates, in the entry "Fixed spawning bug for vehicle where angles were in certain cases inverted"

I think this was caused by the solar panels on the medium rover. So far, I couldn't reproduce this bug anymore!
