The Dynamic Mission Generator is one of the best features recently added to TKOM, but as I was playing more with it on a new campaign, I noticed some issues that require a bit of tweaking (more specifically, when Small Rovers are involved).
For example, many of the missions generated required a color camera, even though my humble small rover only had a monochromatic camera. Also, with the same small rover, sometimes it would generate missions that would require a robotic arm or some hardcore stunts (for example, using APSX on sand, or on flat rocks).
I can see this being less problematic as we progress further into the campaign and unlock access to better technologies, but it can be really frustrating on early missions, when you take a 100 meters detour to try a dynamic mission, only to discover 5 minutes later that it's impossible to complete it.
