Science Mission ref. 3695 - APXS and Drill on rocks not completing
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

This mission on Victoria Crater has two tasks that are not completing properly.

First there is a rock that needs to be tested with APXS, but it does not seem to properly complete, unless you approach it with a very specific angle.

After I tried a couple of times, I managed to complete the APXS test on this rock, and was asked to drill a nearby rock. This time, I couldn't complete it even after trying several different angles. I ended up spending almost half of my drilling attempts on this rock before I gave up.

Steps To Reproduce
  1. Send a Large Rover to Science Mission ref. 3695, in Victoria Crater.
  2. Proceed with the tasks until about 70% of the major taks are complete.
  3. You should be at the dark streaks, north of Victoria Crater.
  4. You will receive a task to analize a rock with APXS. This is bugged, but it is possible to complete if you try different angles.
  5. After that, there will be a task to drill a rock. This one, as far as I tried, can not be completed.
