Can't scan rock on the 2 craters mission

Description

Can't progress any further in game due too this bug back up into rock allows me to scan it but when I stop the wheels I lose the scan does not complete.

two craters rock face my scanner is cleary in the green box but won't turn red too allow me too scan.

? the scanner is on the other side .. overlay on your screen is not a real view where the scanner is?
